I have switched the headline of this newsletter from “medical tyranny” to “Trudeau tyranny” because a lot of the provinces are slowly (too slowly) phasing out restrictions — though they could bring them back anytime.
We’re now facing the more immediate threat of Trudeau’s tyranny, through his use of the Emergency Act.
I predict that in order to justify keeping the Act in place Trudeau’s henchmen will orchestrate a false flag operation using agent provocateurs. Meaning that they’ll plant weapons or uncover a “terror cell” among the truckers — as they just did in Coutts, Alberta. But this will happen in Ottawa. The Ottawa protest must be on guard against that.
The next 30 days will be interesting — to see how far Trudeau goes with it. It’s clearly meant to punish and repress those who want freedom. Will it mean the collapse of the Trudeau regime, as many hope, or does it signal the end of freedom and democracy in the West?
Here’s some breaking news that’s good: “WOW , SEVEN PROVINCES OPPOSE TRUDEAU’S UNDEMOCRATIC EMERGENCY ACT !” (from Brian Peckford, just now – early hours of Feb. 17th, 2022)
Take that Justin Trudeau!
Take that Federal Government!
Take that Federal Liberal Party!
This situation is almost equal to what you need for a Constitutional Change —-7 Provinces and 50% of the population. The opposition to the Undemocratic Emergency Act is 7 Provinces and 48% of the population! Justin Trudeau , even your Dad agreed to 7 Provinces and 50% of the population.
British Columbia , Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador —-SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU! Now , JUSTIN! REMOVE THAT EMERGENCY ACT!
[I’m guessing that these three provinces voted to support Trudeau’s use of the Act]
________
More good news: it’s been exposed that Trudeau is in a huge conflict of interest, inasmuch as he invested in an profited from the pharma corporations that made the mRNA drugs — then relentlessly pushed them on the public. This is in addition to his many other ethics violations. Also see my article from September on why Canadians should vote against him.
Robert Malone writes: “Trudeau has become a very wealthy man on his profits from the BioNTech/Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. He is invested heavily in the Canadian company that holds the patents for the lipid nanoparticles. The Canadian government is also profiting nicely off of these companies -from their patent royalties.
“Thanks to David Martin, who did the heavy lifting and has produced the documents and facts proving this point – see on Rumble.
“In my opinion: Trudeau’s conflicts of interest are vast. His vaccine mandates, authoritarian rule and use of emergency powers has benefited himself at the expense of Canadians. It is time for him to go.” Millions of Canadians agree!
________
If you want to get to the heart of what this is all about, read this message from freedom activists in Australia:

It’s from this video: Blockade Everything! I can’t seem to embed it in WordPress, but here’s an excerpt of what’s said:
The Australian government says ‘Even if we had zero cases and 80 percent vaccinated double dosed, you’d still have to respect some rules that exist around vaccinations, around social distancing, around mask wearing.’ They commentator says, “That’s what this has always been about. It’s what we said from the beginning. The pandemic is a cover-story.
“The pandemic is there so you’ll get the vaccine. The vaccine is there so you’ll get the vaccine passport. The passport is there so you’ll get the social credit score. The social credit score is so you’ll obey the government. The government can now control every single thing that you do when you don’t do what you’re told. It can deny you food, medicine, housing, travel.
“And none of this is lawful. None of these guidelines are lawful. It’s time to stop complying, folks. Stop complying with your own slavery, because this is going to continue for as long as people remain obedient. There’s been a call to blockade borders. I think it’s a great idea. They’re trying to shut us down, so let’s shut it down ourselves.”
I have illustrated this idea below. Feel free to share it!

“If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism.” – Ronald Reagan, 1975. This can be amended to read: “if fascism ever comes to Canada, it will come in the name of progressivism.” Same idea.
My analysis is that Trudeau didn’t anticipate the backlash and then he over-reacted. He must not be in favour with the WEF elite right now because he over-played his hand with the insults to the truckers and those who support them, and now the Emergency Act. It has inspired convoys around the world. They don’t like that. I would not be surprised if Trudeau is forced to resign soon. One can only hope!

Brian Peckford writes: “The [Emergency] Act is in effect now. Parliament can confirm or revoke the Act but until then, the Act is in effect . . . A proclamation has been issues outlining specific powers the government has under the Act. In that proclamation, the conditions are outlined [as to] what comes under these powers.” It is “international traded being threatened, infrastructure threatened, and acts of violence.”
Peckford says “NONE OF THIS APPLIES TO OTTAWA AND THE TRUCKERS. REPEAT : NONE OF THIS APPLIES TO THE OTTAWA TRUCKERS.” [But despite this] “there is indication that Ottawa is being included! Lawyers are challenging all this as we speak.”
In other words, Ottawa should not have invoked the use of the Emergency Act. It’s uncalled for. They are turning Canada into a police state. This Act was only meant for times of war, not for peaceful protests.
Above: a hopeful video from the trucker support group in Ottawa, to reassure them that they’re holding the line and urging others to do so. They refer to Mr. Fancy socks (Trudeau).
These are real working class folks fed up with endless restrictions. Trudeau’s response was to tell them – and a millions of other Canadians who support them — to shut up and to call them racists and terrorists.
The arrogance of this is almost beyond belief. But I think it’s not Trudeau’s doing alone. He’s being told to do this, to implement authoritarian rule as the next phase of the WEF agenda.
Here are his Ramadan socks:

Below: a great summary and discussion by Candice Malcolm of True North:
The CBC and Left are claiming that this does not suspend civil liberties. More lies.

Below: a reference to the fact that the Trudeau government (and NDP and Green MPs) had a chance to vote for a plan to end the mandates and chose not to. CPC and Bloc Quebecois voted to end them.
The defeated motion read: “That, given that provinces are lifting COVID-19 restrictions and that Dr. Theresa Tam has said that all existing public health measures need to be ‘re-evaluated’ so that we can ‘get back to some normalcy’, the House call on the government to table a plan for the lifting of all federal mandates and restrictions, and to table that plan by February 28, 2022.”
Now it’s left up to each province to do it at their own pace – which in some cases will take a long time. And the mandates can come back at any time, now that the precedent for medical tyranny has been established. But the protest helped to show the many are not happy with it, which will hopefully make politicians wary of doing this again.

Nonetheless, the truckers freedom protest has had the effect of convincing most provinces and many businesses to drop these unconstitutional restrictions (below) and it has also led to the emergence of a much-needed freedom movement in Canada.

Reflections on the new phase of the globalist coup d’etat
by Think for Yourself
For several decades grievance studies and cultural Marxism slowly eroded Western societies through the education system, laying the groundwork for what’s unfolding now. Trudeau’s misuse of the Emergency Act to create a dictatorship is stripping away the façade of a public health crisis to reveal the totalitarian aspirations that lie beneath it.
Many are now seeing what some of us saw years ago, but most are silent in the face of this naked show of power. Because now they can seize your bank account. They are applying a a CCP-style social credit system, as I and many others predicted they would. First it was the vax passports; now it’s support for the truckers and opposition to the state that’s punishable. This is a blatant violation of freedom of speech.
After a couple of generations of cultural Marxism slowly eroding and dividing our society from within, we saw the acceleration of the divisive race rhetoric just and increasing scapegoating of working-class people (the so-called “deplorables”).
Trudeau did his part by calling Canadians “racists” and imposing mass immigration and belittling Canada’s history. He later scapegoated the unvaccinated and the truckers and freedom movement, giving license for the media and pundits to do so as well.
In the last two years, we saw the use of medical tyranny to introduce a social credit system through division and dehumanizing rhetoric against the unvaccinated and repressive mandates.
Canada was among the worst in the world, contributing to the spontaneous explosion of the freedom movement here. That seems to be over for the time being – though it can invoked at any time again if they want to (all it would take is another respiratory disease, real or imagined).
Now, as the freedom movement emerges in response to this repression, a new phase in the globalist playbook is to accuse it of insurrection and terrorism (falsely) and use it as a pretext for imposing authoritarian rule and a police state. The very movement that arose in response to restrictions is outlawed and repressed even more.
The use of the Emergency Act to impose martial law in Canada — and the use of riot police in Europe and Australia and New Zealand reveal the desperation of the ruling class to crush the freedom movement before it topples their precarious hold on power.
This new phase will continue for years, I predict. The treatment of the J6 political protestors in the U.S. will become the norm, with long prison sentences and stiff fines designed to destroy your life and scare everyone else into submission.
Take for the example the case of Canadian political prisoner Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who is back in jail for the 5th time. All because he has dared to speak out against the government’s violation of freedom of religion. The media completely corrupt, so the truth must be told by independent media.
This will continue until Canada is a full-blow totalitarian state, with torture, murder and gulags — unless enough people begin to grasp what’s happening and stand up against it, as the truckers did and are still doing. Otherwise, the West — the best system of governance in human history — will be gone in a few years.
It’s true that the U.S. Republican states will hold out for some time, but I’m fearful that unless there is a massive rejection of the globalists soon, the globalist coup d’etat will be a fait accompli.
And I predict something more: when the globalists impose this regime, it won’t be long before the CCP take over from there — or that authoritarian globalism merges with the CCP.
The CCP actively and openly seeks world domination and their methods are more brutal. Authoritarian Leftist progressive globalists, whether they know it or not, are laying the groundwork for what’s known as corporate Communism. It could also simply be called fascism.
Eventually, the former liberal democracies will drop the pretense entirely and just move to re-education camps and gulags, engage in torture and mass murder and suspend elections, as in China.
Again, this will happen unless enough people see it and stand up against it. It seems headed in that direction. Though it’s very encouraging to see people mass in Ottawa to oppose it.
This is vital as it has been in Hong Kong to stop the takeover by China. They have not been successful because the CCP don’t care and no one came to their aid, but we may still be successful because Canada is a liberal democracy and globalists are hesitant to use brutal CCP tactics (i.e., mass murder). This may be the start of a descent into real despotism from which we never recover but there is still hope for now.
All people of good conscience should resist it, non-violently of course. If violence is used, they win because they have armed force and Canadians do not. That’s why they’re desperate to push the narrative that the freedom movement is violent — when in fact it’s not.
Maintaining nonviolence as the prevailing ethic is paramount now, in my view – not just to retain the moral high ground but also to prevent the globalists from using “extremism” as a pretext for implementing a permanent police state and dictatorship – as exists in so many tragic places in the world.

Below: good American commentary from an elder statesman. “The tyranny of the managerial elite over the working class majority . . . Trudeaus’ leadership is underwhelming. He has misjudged the situation . . .” The rest of what he says is very good. He sums it up quite well.
Below: “Mark F., a Retired RCMP Officer, Speaks Outs at Parliament Hill in Ottawa on February 13th 2022. He recites the officer’s oath to the Canadian constitution and people, and reminds current officers to do the same. Something with his heart pulled him to the stage to talk to the people. He remembers the past crimes committed by the government, which almost brings him to tears. Protests and veterans supporting the Trucker Convoy continue across Canada.”

Brian Peckford on ‘completely unnecessary’ Emergencies Act
“The kind of action that the government of Canada is taking, killing a fly with a sledgehammer, this is completely and absolutely unnecessary,” said Peckford.
The last living contributing author of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms Brian Peckford is extremely concerned about the overreach being used by the government after it invoked the Emergencies Act.
Peckford — the former Premier of Newfoundland — spoke at a press conference on Monday in Ottawa with the leaders of the truckers’ Freedom Convoy.
“We are at a very historic moment in our history to see this act being invoked for the first time against peaceful demonstration and civil disobedience,” said Peckford.
“This is completely unnecessary to apply to the truckers and we will over the next days and weeks we will actively argue against any such measure being passed by the Parliament of Canada.”
He said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has not made any effort to sit down with the truckers who are peacefully demonstrating to find possible solutions.
Peckford said invoking what was previously known as the War Measures Act, is “completely unnecessary” and hopes the order will be shot down in Parliament within the next week.
“We want robust debate and no closure on this for weeks.”
Section 1 of the Charter — the government being able to restrict individual freedoms — doesn’t apply in this situation, said Peckford.
“If Section 1 does apply, which I would argue it doesn’t, they would have to demonstrably justify their actions,” he said.
Peckford said it is a very high bar for the governments to eliminate the individual rights and freedoms of Canadians in the Charter.

Below: my own research on why the Emergency Act is not legal:
Why Trudeau’s use of the Emergency Act is illegal as well as being morally wrong
Trudeau is using a law that’s intended for war time or a real emergency such as a major natural disaster in order to suppress peaceful and lawful protest against his government.
As many online comments have noted, the protest against his misuse of emergency orders (for a treatable disease with a 99 percent recovery rate) has led to his misuse of the Emergency Act. In both cases it’s blatant misuse of the law. The only “national emergency” is that which is created by a paranoid and vindictive federal government!
If you go to the government website where the text of the Emergency Act resides, it clear from reading it that Trudeau’s use of it is unwarranted and illegal.
I trust the Justice Centre will be making that argument in court. They’re already doing the court case on the illegality of the use of emergency orders over the last two years.
Hopefully the judge is not a political appointee of the Liberal government! Here is the text.
3 For the purposes of this Act, a national emergency is an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that
- (a) seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it, or
- (b) seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada
and that cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada.
Clearly, the peaceful trucker protest is not an emergency by that definition, as several Premiers already stated — the Premiers of Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec. Quebec surprised me.
How are the “lives, health or safety of Canadians” endangered by peaceful protest exactly? The lockdowns and mandates endangered us, but not the protests. Far from it. The truckers are saving us! They are heroes!
As for the protest being a “serious threat to the ability” of the government to “the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada” — again, where is the emergency?
This is a reference to Canada breaking up or being invaded. Again, Trudeau handing over Canada’s natural resources to China might count, but not peaceful protest by truckers.
So why is Trudeau et al treating the truckers in this fashion? As previously posted, Bruce Pardy’s analysis is correct: the nanny state that Trudeau seeks to create (using the WEF model) feels existentially threatened by Canadians who want a Canada in which civil liberties are resected.
They don’t understand or respect the idea of a free people, of individual liberties. They are collectivists.
On some level this is a class war between a privileged middle- and upper class and the working class. The irony being that ‘progressives’ imagine themselves morally superior — but they’re calling for the violation of human rights! Where is their supposed moral superiority?
It’s a rift between two visions for Canada: the vison up upon which it was founded and what made it great (an enshrined in the various founding documents) and the vision of a “post-nationalist” globalists ruling elite – which is much like the type of corporate Communism operative in China right now.
This is what should engender a spirited debate, but the elitists don’t like debate. They prefer censorship and repression.
Some people are comparing this move by Trudeau to Hitler’s creation of the Reichstag Fire Decree:
“Articles of the Constitution of the German Reich are suspended until further notice. It is therefore permissible to restrict the rights of personal freedom [habeas corpus], freedom of (opinion) expression, including the freedom of the press, the freedom to organize and assemble, the privacy of postal, telegraphic and telephonic communications. Warrants for House searches, orders for confiscations as well as restrictions on property, are also permissible beyond the legal limits otherwise prescribed.”
While the Emergency Act, in print, does not allow for all of that, it does broaden the ability of the government to censor, arrest and imprison, spy — and as we’ve learned — freeze bank accounts. The danger is that Trudeau will take it too far, beyond a point of no return.
We already know that two bank accounts were frozen by TD bank. They held $1.4 million in support for the protest. “TD has been put “on notice that their actions are improper and disappointing,” Keith Wilson, a lawyer for the convoy, said in an email on Saturday, adding the convoy will seek a court order next week to release the donations to a new not-for-profit corporation that has been set up to manage and distribute them.”
That was Feb. 12, before the Emergency Act. Now that it’s in place will all donors lose their bank accounts?
If nothing else, it gives the Liberals an enemies list in Canada whom they could target for punishment and whose computers and smartphones they’ll track.
The Emergency Act says that it does not suspend the civil liberties in the Charter and Constitution, but clearly it does. It’s written with an internal contradiction. Its proponents claim otherwise because there’s a bit of doublespeak in the Act: it says the Charter is still in effect. This will no doubt be of use if lawyers have to defend people harmed by it.
On a more positive note, by Trudeau exposing his hand in this way undermines his reign. The hope is that enough people of good conscience will see that he’s gone too far and call for his resignation for endangering Canada.
The freedom movement is a response to the rise of globalist authoritarianism. It seeks the restoration of the individual rights and freedoms the West was founded on and which are enshrined in its constitutions and bills of rights.
It’s here to stay no matter what the angry Leftist authoritarian apparatchiks may do or so. In fact the more they try to crush it the more it grows. A real people’s movement is open to everyone who shares its ideals.
A lot of people came to Canada to be free and prosperous. Canada has always symbolized those things until recently. This is why Trudeau must resign, for Canada’s sake. He is destroying this country.
________
Here is the source for the comparison with the Reichstag Decree. It’s a great analysis:
This part is interesting of the Emergency Act is interesting:
8.1 (d) the authorization of or direction to any person, or any person of a class of persons, to render essential services of a type that that person, or a person of that class, is competent to provide and the provision of reasonable compensation in respect of services so rendered;
Meaning that they intend to use this part of it to force tow truck drivers to town the trucks. They said so. Will the tow truck drivers do as they’re told or commit an act of civil disobedience? There are fines and the threat of prison sentences for those who disobey, under the Act.
It seems remarkable that Trudeau would have the audacity to try to force people to act against their conscience in this way. He seems to regard the working class as his slaves! It’s precisely this arrogance that has led to the protest.

What’s also remarkable is how principled the working class are in response: Canadian Towing Company to Ignore Trudeau Order to Disrupt Trucker Protests: “A towing company CEO plans to ignore Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s order for towing companies to disrupt truckers protesting vaccine mandates.”
What’s needed is to retain the spirit of hope that led to the formation of the convoy. If enough people start to despair and give up, then Canada is lost. I fear that. The truckers have given hope to hundreds of millions around the world. The globalist plan is hanging on by a thread and can easily unravel.
The outrage against Trudeau online is stupendous. While the MSM lies and says most Canadians are against the convoy, almost all the comments online are for it. If so many are against, why are they silent? It’s good to see. He has invoked the wrath of millions. Of course, the media and elite class in Canada continue to double down and belittle the truckers.
The next few weeks will tell the tale of whether Canada will be liberated or go down the dark path we long feared it would.
Some are calling for a general strike. Great idea if there’s support for it. The good thing about the truckers’ protest is that it was organic and spontaneous and decentralized. I’m hoping the same will happen again now that JT has outed himself as a bona fide tyrant.

This is a “totalitarian encroachment” – great speech by Jordan Peterson
Letter to a CPC MLA below. Please use any of this to write to your own MLA. Link to list of MLA/MPPs.
Dear ______:
We would like you if possible to urge Premier _______ to join other CPC Premiers who have already spoken up against the imposition of the Emergency Act by Trudeau. That obviously goes too far and must be stopped.
Trudeau seems to have forgotten that Canada is a liberal democracy, not a dictatorship. There is nothing that the truckers and their supporters have done that should warrant being treated as terrorists. The truckers engaged in peaceful protest, as is their constitutional right. They’re heroes, not terrorists!
Now the government threatens to freeze bank accounts and has unlimited powers to spy and punish those that disagree with it — as happens in third world dictatorships. And riot police or the military sent to disperse kids in bouncy castles and hockey games and soup kitchens and people singing “Oh Canada” in Ottawa?
Even if he disagreed with the protests, Premier ________ should be speaking up against what’s happening now. This is an absolute disgrace.
Here is a good article on it: https://www.theepochtimes.com/canadian-government-declares-state-of-emergency-over-protests-against-covid-19-mandates_4277273.html And a good discussion: https://rumble.com/vuybej-ezra-reacts-to-trudeaus-suspension-of-civil-liberties.html
Ezra Levant calls it “the greatest infringement on civil liberties in our history.” He is wrong on one point in the discussion though: he said the Canadian Civil Liberties Association is silent. Maybe at the time he spoke yesterday it was, but since then, the CCLA spoke up, saying the Emergency Act threatens democracy, e.g., https://torontosun.com/news/national/normalizing-emergency-legislation-threatens-democracy-civil-liberties-ccla
But the media that Trudeau bought off with our tax dollars has asked no questions about the suspension of civil liberties, which is a disgrace and shows the danger of media corruption. Thank God for independent media in Canada.
We urge you to speak up for democracy and oppose the use of the Emergency Act.

This is from the Toronto Sun, one of the very few MSM that are not totally corrupt . . .
Normalizing emergency legislation threatens democracy, civil liberties: CCLA
There are some concerns about the federal government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to end antigovernment blockades against COVID-19 measures that are being held across the country.
The Canadian Civil Liberties Association says it does not believe the “high and clear” threshold needed to invoke the act has been met, noting the law states it can only be used when a situation cannot be dealt with using any other law in the country.
Executive director Noa Mendelsohn Aviv warns that normalizing emergency legislation “threatens our democracy and our civil liberties.”
This is the first time the Emergencies Act has been invoked since it came into force in 1988, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said yesterday it is necessary to protect critical infrastructure such as borders and airports from the blockades, and create time-limited powers that do not already exist.
The government will use the act to force towing companies to remove big rigs and other vehicles that are blocking highways and other critical infrastructure.
It will also be used establish zones where public assembly is not allowed, and require banks to suspend or freeze accounts suspected of supporting the blockades, including those belonging to companies whose trucks are part of the convoy.
One of the main organizers behind the truckers’ protest in Ottawa, now in its third week, said members are not going anywhere, and will “hold the line” in the face of the act. [That was Tamara Lich speaking]
NDP will back Justin Trudeau’s Emergencies Act: As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks with premiers about using the Emergencies Act to quell demonstrations that have paralyzed Ottawa’s downtown core and several border crossings NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says he would support the legislation if it is tabled.
[Singh is such a rotten person. I am speechless at how much the NDP are willing to betray the working class for their own elitist class interests. Singh is wealthy and arrogant, e.g., “Rich, fashionable Jagmeet Singh finally calls out farmers for their privilege: Singh is a rich criminal lawyer lecturing a bunch of aged farmers, teachers and nurses about their ‘privilege’ — because they sent him a letter?” He has labelled the truckers “white supremacists.”]

Some good comments online
[from Feb. 14 and 15, 2022]
You can find a lot of them at this link (Epoch Times). Rebel News has quite a few (thousands!) at this link.
Epoch and Rebel both have literally thousands of uncensored comments calling for Trudeau to resign, and criticizing him for doing this.
The corrupt media tends to censor comments critical of their glorious leader and financier. I wonder if Trudeau will impose widespread censorship with his newfound powers?
The next month will either result in the end of Canada (if people submit) or the end of tyranny (if they rebel).

Below: always a great commentary from Tucker Carlson:
Good commentary:
Below: good American commentary in support of the truckers and for freedom:
Just a few of the tens of thousands (maybe even hundreds of thousands) of online comments in support of the truckers and against Trudeau:
Justin Trudeau should resign. The UN should send observers to Canada immediately. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says: “No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression… Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association.” The UN should send observers to Canada immediately.
If you look at world history, it’s very common for authoritarian regimes to step on their citizens rights like Trudeau is doing when they see the writing on the wall, start losing their grasp on control and power, and get very scared!
Fidel would be so proud of his son.
Any and all are subject to summary seizure, with the promise it will be returned if all is found to be in order. Donations to the Conservative Party of Canada will be considered “problematic”.
Julius Caesar granted himself the powers of Dictator For life. Trudeau is not going to relinquish any power, and risk Conservatives might get into office. If anything he will protect his position with more persecution of his enemies.
Trudeau setting himself up to to be able to seize assets, bank accounts of his political opponents potentially. This is not democracy. This reminds me of a certain country that blackface admires [China]
As per Mr. Trudeau, you can not demonstrate against an emergency measure without getting another emergency measure declared against a peaceful demonstration. [As for the economic argument he makes] Please. Ford in Ontario caused much bigger financial losses [during the lockdown I presume]
Make no mistake, Trudeau’s agenda, and now his tactics, have been laid bare. This has nothing whatsoever to do with the pandemic or mandates. It is about raw, unadulterated power. Of course the “high and clear” threshold needed to invoke the act has not been met. And of course there are other solutions available to deal with this peaceful protest. Trudeau doesn’t care! Trudeau will not tolerate contrary opinions or dissent. His agenda is the complete dismantling of Canada and the Canadian Charter.
Having the power to seize assets and property, prevent lawful protest and quell whatever Trudeau determines is “dissent” all without proof or warrants and to prevent citizens from even providing funding or support to any cause Trudeau so chooses are the dictatorial powers Trudeau craves, exposed to the light of day. Trudeau and Ford used more rhetoric and more threats over the last two days to put a chill in law abiding citizens. They have done nothing to condemn the violent actions of counter-protestors.
Trudeau and Ford and Singh have teamed up to destroy hope and destroy families and destroy the Charter and to destroy freedom. And they have now made it clear to all but the wilfully blind, those lacking cognitive ability, or those who are in on it with them, that they will not rest until they have destroyed Canada.
“If you let the government break the law because of an ‘emergency’, they will always create an ‘emergency’ to break the law.”
He is concerned about the truckers disrupting business in Ottawa but of course that that is totally different then the Gov’t shutting down business all across Canada for over a year.
Citizens have a right to protest against evil edicts. How dare these leaders unleash evil upon its citizens. Every time you see these leaders in a photo the picture is so neat and clean looking. Then words of comfort are spoken ,meant to be understanding of what’s going on. But real evil is in the plans behind the scenes.
Trudeau is ignoring the message that The People are tired of Emergency Usurpation Rule. All he has to do is repeal the unnecessary mandates.
Cut off Trudeau and his nation from the U.S. market. Temporarily boycott Canadian products and push your Congressmen to act in support of freedom and condemn Trudeau as a fascist.
What evil, smug, arrogant pieces of garbage these creatures are. How much did they sell their souls for is what I want to know.
The supreme leader of People’s Republic of Canada just declared martial law!
Now they have access to your bank accounts. All Canadians should take whatever money they want to give to the peaceful protestors out of the banks put it in their wallets and purses and walk down to where the truckers and protestors are and hand it to a group that represents the protestors. The little dictator will then have to arrest people who carry cash. How far will the puny little twit go to crush the will of the people.
“Let them eat cake” – Justin Trudeau

The good, freedom-loving people of Canada should declare a state of emergency over having an unwanted, narcissistic, communist, tyrant occupying the seat of Prime Minister, and then find a way to HAVE HIM REMOVED. Power to the people. He works for them, not the other way around.
Now anyone who still thought was about “health” should be able to see the truth and realize this is a war to strip not just Canada but every country of their human freedoms.
It is time for the everyday police officer to pick a side. Sacrifice as much as the truckers are sacrificing for liberty. Pick the side of tyranny and it will NEVER be forgotten.
Crime is down, streets are clean, homeless are being fed, garbage is being picked up, WOW this sounds like they really need the Emergencies Act to get this situation fully under control!
All law enforcement officers and military personnel will need now to decide what to do when confronting one another, as to the legal and moral implications to follow what may be illegal orders, & directives by their superiors, and government officials. When will the “people” have justice and sane governance? What happens when local law enforcement & and federal government troops are on opposing sides of enforcing ever-expanding punitive and draconian measures?
Truly evil little man. Trudeau appears to be suffering from Napoleonic Complex. The Premiers should push back.
Truckers, hold the line. Shut it down. All of it.
Stand strong, don’t yield. Let the world see how powerful cowards like Trudeau and Biden really are. They are both sissies hiding instead of listening to the will of the people they SERVE.
In 2020 we had government supported “peaceful” protests that were burning down cities. In 2022, we have bouncy castles, smiling families, strangers hugging each other, and people proudly waving Canadian flags. Trudeau can’t risk having a unified country, so let’s call a State of Emergency!
He needs to grow a little one inch mustache below his nose so people will recognize who he really is.
These demonstrations are the only means by which honest, hard-working people can draw attention to the disastrous policies of Trudeau and his thugs (just like the disastrous policies of FJB and his thugs). MORE POWER TO THE TRUCKERS!
Take away the mandates and restrictions and this will be over! Trudeau is finished he must go!
Welcome to the New World Order
This is for the people that complain to be inconvenienced: “Those that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety” – Benjamin Franklin
The Canadians should never have elected this person. Also, Biden should never have been elected by rigged votes. Our countries are being screwed!
Trudeau is now unabashedly a DICTATOR!!!! I weep for the Canadians.
Why doesn’t he come to the table and discuss a peaceful solution with the truckers? This man is weak.
There’s a huge difference between a national emergency which involved a literal insurrection that killed politicians and had manufactured hundreds of bombs and a bouncy-castle revolution where they clean the streets and feed the homeless. A minority government petty-dictator declaring martial law without all that much of an outcry by the public tells me that we’ve lost our democracy. Get out while you still can. We’ve clearly failed as a free society.
Trudeau is now governing like the CCP. He is labeling Peaceful Protestors as “Domestic Terrorists.” Stealing the money donated to them too.. He didn’t freeze the crowdfunding for BLM/ANTIFA despite their violent acts. Trudeau becoming a dictator like those we’ve read about in the 20th Century. May God help the Canadian People.
Just declare an emergency and a first world nation becomes a third world dictatorship.
Get out, you say? No… stay and fight!!! That is what Canadians are all about!!! Do not give in! Do not comply! Do not SURRENDER!!!! God is with you!!! God moves mountains! God is with all of us FREEDOM FIGHTERS!
So, the government responds to a protest against government crackdowns with more government crackdowns!
Tyrants can’t function without police and military to enforce their edicts. If the military and police really believe in freedom for Canadians, and they’re not just gestapo for hire to the highest bidder, then they must step in and arrest the petty dictator Trudeau and his ministers before he has enough power to target them … For the sake of all Canadians and Canada’s future, Trudeau must be removed.
This sock puppet of a leader in Canada needs to step down immediately.
Total tyranny but he has a great deal to lose if he loses face or loses the office of prime minister. God please protect the truckers and their children and move in the hearts of all called to do evil. God help us all.
Below: Truckers are not backing down. Their courage is astounding, even knowing that by continuing to do this they are likely to lose everything.
Below: interesting that someone in the UN High Commission, about two years ago, expressed what many of us knew at the time — that emergency orders were uncalled for and were in fact not about disease control; they were about grabbing political power and quashing “civil society.”
Great analysis (as usual) by Laura Ingraham. “This was never about a virus; this was about making the public public.” Absolutely.
Trudeau vows to freeze bank accounts and have insurance removed from anyone, who supports the Trucker Convoy. That includes YOU!
commentary by Rainbow Warrior
Banks, Insurance companies. If they do that they are shooting themselves in the foot. So anyone who supports the truckers can have these things done to them. So JT thinks. Anyone, who follows JT’s lead is completely insane . . . Officer! I found someone, who is, right off his rocker. He is, putting millions of people in danger. Do I have to call, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, for help, or will you do it? I can do that you know. Anyone can. Canadians do have the right to be kept safe, from insane people.
I think these are some of the terrorists JT is talking about.

“My Sister Won’t Speak to Me” — Freedom Convoy Supporter: Trudeau, The Media Are Destroying Families. Wayne, a demonstrator supporting the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa, ON, told Breitbart News on Saturday that families are being “destroyed” by divisions related to the politics of COVID-19. [My comment: this is true. I have written about it here]
I will finish this latter. I have to run and get all my money out of the bank. Thank you PM Trudeau for unintentionally reigniting the True North Strong and Free!
Trudeau Has Declared Martial Law Against Freedom Convoy Protest: The military is poised to intervene against the truckers, according to Canadian media reports. Trudeau’s arbitrary invocation of the Emergencies Act, rather than recognize the fundamental human rights of Canadian citizens, thus effectively suspends the Constitution, the Charter and even the International Covenant on Civil Rights.
However, a number of premiers have pushed back against Trudeau for invoking the Emergencies Act, rather than recognize the legitimacy of the Freedom Convoy protesters wanting their rights to be respected.
“The illegal blockades must end, but police already have sufficient tools to enforce the law and clear the blockades, as they did over the weekend in Windsor,” tweeted Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe.
“Therefore, Saskatchewan does not support the Trudeau government invoking the Emergencies Act. If the federal government does proceed with this measure, I would hope it would only be invoked in provinces that request it, as the legislation allows,” he added.
“I am proud of Manitoba’s law enforcement officials & have full confidence in them to protect our communities. The proposal from the federal government to use the Emergencies Act is not helpful to the situation at the Emerson Border,” Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson wrote.
“Alberta Premier Jason Kenney told reporters that he told Trudeau earlier on Monday that he would prefer if the Emergencies Act did not apply to Alberta, and that such a move was unnecessary in the province,” Fox News reported.
[However Trudeau has indicated that he will use it nation-wide to break up the freedom movement, and today on the radio I heard something that sounded quite staged: in Coutts Alberta, 11 people arrested for supposedly possessing weapons. Who would go to a peaceful protest with weapons? It seems very unlikely, given that it’s the day after Trudeau announces martial law — as if designed to justify what he’s doing. The “extreme elements” who “infiltrated” the protest — I’m willing to be it’s the police themselves. As this fellow says:
“Quebec Premier Francois Legault also warned that he did not want the Emergencies Act to be applied to his province, warning that he thought such a measure would be divisive,” the report added.
“It’s not time to throw fuel on the fire,” he said.
On Sunday, Canadian police have begun mass arrests of Freedom Convoy protesters who had successfully blocked the critical Ambassador Bridge for nearly a week. But now the Canadian government has a whole new problem.
The Windsor Police announced the operation to arrest the Freedom Convoy protesters on Sunday morning.

How mass psychosis, PR campaigns, and psychological operations have shaped the pandemic
by Swiss Policy Research
Unlike the swine flu “fake pandemic” of 2009, covid has been a real pandemic: global excess mortality since January 2020 currently stands at about 20 million deaths or about 16% compared to normal global mortality, caused mostly, though not entirely, by the novel coronavirus. In most countries, the median age of covid deaths turned out to be close to average life expectancy.
Overall, the novel coronavirus has a virulence comparable to a standard influenza virus – similar to the 1957 Asian flu and the 1968 Hong Kong flu, but much milder than the 1918 ‘Spanish flu’ – yet it hit aged populations with widespread metabolic health issues and essentially no pre-existing immunity against this novel virus – in stark contrast to previous flu pandemics, when people over 50 usually had some degree of pre-existing immunity due to prior exposure to similar flu viruses.
Yet in addition to a medical pandemic, covid has also been a propaganda pandemic. The following analysis reviews some of the most important pandemic PR and propaganda campaigns run by Western governments, the media, and intelligence agencies.

Celebrities Assure Nation They Were Wearing High-Tech Invisible Masks Only Rich People Know About (Babylon Bee, satire)

INGLEWOOD, CA—A who’s who of LA elite, many of whom have been vocal advocates of mask mandates, appeared to be huge hypocrites on Sunday as they cheered on the Rams at Super Bowl LVI while maskless. However, they were quick to assure everyone that they had been wearing high-tech invisible masks only rich people know about.
“No, we were totally wearing masks! They’re just… um, invisible. They use… um, top-secret invisibility technology only rich people know about,” explained Lebron James to a tearful child who has never known a life without masks.
Lebron James, crypto-miner Matt Damon, and director Ben Affleck were just a few of the celebrities who had access to the invisible masks. Damon, who previously starred in Elysium, a film about a ruling class who doesn’t share their life-saving medical equipment, was reportedly oblivious to the irony.

Open letter to MP Bill Blair
Myself, many other Canadians, and our American and international friends are amazed, astonished, astounded, stunned, nonplussed at the enactment of the Emergencies Act for a non-emergency like the peaceful, joyful and grassroots citizens’ protest happening in Ottawa and elsewhere.
According to the house of commons website, you are the Minister of Emergency Preparedness. That tells us that you should be able to discern the difference between a peaceful protest and a real emergency. But evidently you can’t since you went ahead, with others in your government, and invoked the Emergencies Act.
Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau used the War Measures Act in 1970 to deal with violence, kidnapping and murder committed by terrorists in Quebec. I know what was going on then, Bill. I was there; and there was reasonable justification. But yesterday, you and your government invoked the Emergencies Act “to deal with bouncy castles and ball hockey” to quote a lawyer who is challenging this mindless act. Do you see the irony? Bill, this is not an emergency, it’s a movement of patriotic Canadians and many, many friends.
I watched on CPAC as you argued against the motion to remove COVID mandates. In your talk, you characterized the protest as some sort of dangerous uprising funded by “foreign money”. Bill, you are amazingly out of touch with ordinary Canadians!
You and Justin Trudeau and your government are abusing power. If there’s an “emergency” Bill, perhaps that is the emergency. We, and history, are watching you, Justin Trudeau and your allies; and the sight is not pretty.
You can’t hide what you are doing. Remember, the internet, social media and cell phones Bill. Each phone is equipped to record video in pretty high resolution. Those on the ground in Ottawa are recording everything and sending it to their friends in the rest of Canada and the world. So we know the truth Bill. Stop the propaganda!
Foreign money? Of course there is “foreign money”, Bill because Canadians have friends everywhere who care about them and their nation. Please wake up Bill. This is not some dangerous foreign takeover of Canada as you have attempted to allude. This is the people of Canada saying: “Enough. Stop it!
Please undo what you have done quickly:
– Meet with the Freedom Convoy organizers
– Remove all COVID mandates
– Call a meeting of the doctors and scientists on both sides of the argument and facilitate a dialogue, backed up with data and transparent to the people.
Otherwise Bill, we the people can’t trust you. You are damaging our nation!

My comment: Blair is a Liberal MP. He’s not, in my view, a good person. When he was Toronto police chief he oversaw the use of violent tactics against peaceful protestors during the G20. See FlASHBACK: Trudeau threw his political support behind Toronto Police Chief responsible for unlawful mass arrests, excessive force at G20 protests in Toronto

Below: an American commentator. He makes some good points, though he’s incorrect to say that restrictions are being lifted across Canada. They’re being phased out in some places, not others, and the politicians phasing them out are acting like it’s no big deal. They’re evading the fact that they ruined our lives for two years for nothing (except to give themselves more power).
It shows Doug Ford, who is one of the worst tyrants in the Western world. Now he’s backing down on the vax passports after imposing them on people unjustly and acting like a bully. He speaks about freedom but disingenuously. He will never be forgiven. He is a traitor to humanity.
A report on dong a vigil with our “Trudeau, resign” and “End mandates” signs:
We went out today despite the bitter cold. During that time we got honks but also three hostile remarks from passersby — which is unusual for Canada where most people are too polite to do that usually. It’s due, I think to people seeing leaders like Trudeau and Ford — and the media — scapegoating the freedom movement and tarnishing it. It gives them the message that it’s okay to be aggressive towards us.
This is from people who have zero knowledge of how the West is founded on individual rights and freedoms. Nor any knowledge of democracy or fascism are, apparently. The tension is like that which you normally see in the U.S. This is a small town in rural Canada. It’s unreal. Although the honks and support were about 10x that, the negativity I saw today gave me the feeling that we could very well lose as well. It was dispiriting. Canada could become Chinada if not enough people catch on and speak up.
Pastor Artur in jail again. People arrested in Coutts with (allegedly) weapons. I think that’s a false flag operation. Politicians treating all this with a ho-hum attitude – we’re going to Phase 3 or whatever. No acknowledgement or apology for ruining the lives of millions. It’s a forlorn feeling. Same thing is going on in all Western nations right now. China and multinational corporations and the ruling elite will benefit from our division. It’s still my hope that the freedom movement will prevail, though.
And I have to recall that win or lose, we stand on the right side. Evil may seem to prevail and for a time it does, but that which is Good is eternal in the spirit.

EDITORIAL: Trudeau has gone too far
Toronto Sun commentary
Ever since the freedom convoy first touched base in Ottawa a couple of weeks ago, the PM has gone out of his way to increase the tensions.
The Liberal government appeared to be hoping for some sort of Jan. 6 style event as happened in the United States last year. All of their rhetoric indicated they were keen to see such an event go down.
It never did. The convoy has been peaceful throughout.
The only real violence so far has been a vehicular ramming conducted against protesters, which sent four people to hospital. You don’t hear much about that though. Trudeau never condemned it.
Instead, Trudeau has called protesters every name in the book even though they are a diverse crowd in every sense of the word.
Now he is giving himself extraordinary powers to deal with these protests. One of the most disturbing parts is how they can now dictate that banks freeze people’s accounts without a court order.
People like Canadian hero Kevin Vickers — the Sargeant-at-Arms who personally thwarted the 2014 terrorist attack on Parliament Hill — have called for calm and dialogue. Trudeau doesn’t want that though. He just wants division and more hostility.
It appears to be in this spirit that the PM has decided to invoke the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history. At least four Premiers opposed him.
The controversial blockade of the Ambassador Bridge was already resolved. The grounds for invoking this act are, according to Joanna Baron of the Canadian Constitution Foundation, “extremely thin”. The protests may be a nuisance and many people may disagree with them, but that doesn’t justify this decision.
The only thing that can be said in defence of Trudeau’s invoking of the Emergencies Act is that it was his incompetence that made such an extreme measure necessary.

Below: police and protestors hug and say goodbye after the blockade ends after police found weapons and the main group did not want to be associated with that. I believe the weapons were planted but it remains to be seen. Even if they were not, it does not represent the views of the protest, which was always peaceful and nonviolent. Trudeau and the corrupt media are trying to portray the truckers as violent but they’re obviously not.
Trudeau Deploys Globalist Police Force Against Peaceful Protestors
Below: Robert Malone and Tucker Carlson discuss the last two years — and the WEF agenda.
Now is the Time for Mass Resignations from Within the Ruling Class
by Jeffery A. Tucker, Jan. 30, 2022, Epoch Times
If there is a historical precedent for the truckers’ revolt in Canada, and the populist protests in so many other parts of the world, I would like to know what it is. It surely sets the record for convoy size, and it is historic for Canada. But there is much more going on here, something more fundamental. The two-year imposition of bio-fascist rule by diktat seems ever less tenable – the consent of the governed is being withdrawn – but what comes next seems unclear.
We now have two of the most restrictive “leaders” in the developed world (Justin Trudeau of Canada and Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand) hiding in undisclosed locations, citing the need to quarantine following Covid exposure. Streets globally have filled up with people demanding an end to mandates and lockdowns, calling for accountability, pushing for resignations, denouncing privileged corporations, and crying out for a recognition of basic freedoms and rights.
Note too that these movements are spontaneous and from “below:” they are populated mostly by the very workers whom governments shoved to face the pathogen two years ago, while the ruling class hid behind their laptops in their living rooms. It was the lockdowns that sharply divided the classes and the mandates that are imposing segregation. Now we are facing a modern allegory to the peasants’ revolt in the Middle Ages.
For a long time, the workers complied bravely but have been forced to accept medical shots they neither wanted nor believed they needed. And many are still being denied freedoms they took for granted only two years ago, their schools non-operational, businesses wrecked, places of entertainment closed or severely restricted. People turn on the radios and televisions to listen to lectures by ruling-class elites who claim to be channeling the science that always ends in the same theme: the rulers are in charge and everyone else must comply, no matter what is asked of them.
But then it became screamingly obvious to the world that none of it worked. It was a gigantic flop and the sky-high cases of late 2021 in most parts of the world put a fine point on it. They failed. It was all for naught. This clearly cannot continue. Something has to give. Something has to change, and this change probably will not wait for the next scheduled elections. What happens in the meantime? Where is this going?
We’ve seen what revolutions look like against monarchies (18th and 19th century), against colonial occupation, against totalitarian one-party states (1989-90), and against banana-republic strongmen (20th century). But what does revolution look like in developed democracies ruled by entrenched administrative states in which elected politicians serve as little more than veneer for bureaucracies?
Since John Locke, it is an accepted idea that people have the right to rule themselves and even to replace governments that go too far in denying that right. In theory, the problem of government overreach in democracy is solved by elections. The argument made for such a system is that it allows for peaceful change of a ruling elite, and this is far less socially costly than war and revolution.
There are many problems with matching theory and reality, among which that the people with the real power in the 21st century are not the people we elect but those who have gained their privileges through bureaucratic maneuvering and longevity.
There are many strange features of the last two years but one of them that stands out to me is how utterly undemocratic the trajectory of events has been. When they locked us down, for example, it was the decision of elected autocrats as advised by credentialled experts that were somehow sure that this path would make the virus go away (or something like that). When they imposed vaccination mandates, it was because they were sure that this was the right path for public health.
There were no polls. There was little if any input from legislatures at any level. Even from the first lockdowns in the US, occurring March 8, 2020 in Austin, Texas, there was no consultation with the city council. Neither were citizens asked. The wishes of the small business people were not solicited. The state legislature was left out entirely.
It was as if everyone suddenly presumed that the whole country would operate on an administrative/dictatorship model, and that the guidelines of health bureaucracies (with plans for lockdowns that hardly anyone even knew existed) trumped all tradition, constitutions, restrictions on state power, and public opinion generally. We all became their servants. This happened all over the world.
It suddenly became obvious to many people in the world that the systems of government we thought we had – responsive to the public, deferential to rights, controlled by courts – were no longer in place. There seemed to be a substructure that was hiding in plain sight until it suddenly took full control, to the cheers of the media and the presumption that this is just the way things are supposed to be.
Years ago, I was hanging out in the building of a federal agency when there was a change of guard: a new administration appointed a new person to head it. The only change that the bureaucrats noticed was new portraits on the wall. Most of these people pride themselves in failing to notice. They know who is in charge and it is not the people we imagine to elect. They are there for life, and face none of the public scrutiny much less accountability that the politicians face daily.
Lockdowns and mandates gave them full power, not only over the one or two sectors they previously ruled but the whole of society and all of its functioning. They even controlled how many people we could have in our homes, whether our businesses could be open, whether we could worship with others, and dictate what precisely we are supposed to do with our own bodies.
Whatever happened to limits on power? The people who put together the systems of government in the 18th century that led to the most prosperous societies in the history of the world knew that restricting government was the key to a stable social order and growing economy. They gave us Constitutions and the lists of rights and the courts enforced them.
But at some point in history, the ruling class figured out certain workarounds to these restrictions. The administrative state with permanent bureaucrats could achieve things that legislatures could not, so they were gradually unleashed under various pretexts (war, depression, terror threats, pandemics). Moreover, governments gradually learned to outsource their hegemonic ambitions to the biggest businesses in the private sector, who themselves benefit from increasing the costs of compliance.
The circle has been completed by enlisting Big Media into the mix of control via access to the class of rulers, to receive and broadcast out the line of the day, and hurl insults at any dissidents within the population (“fringe,” etc.). This has created what we see in the 21st century: a toxic combination of Big Tech, Big Government, Big Media, all backed by various other industrial interests who benefit more from systems of control than they would from a free and competitive economy. Further, this cabal leveled a radical attack on civil society itself, closing churches, concerts, and civic groups.
We’ve been assured by David Hume (1711-1776) and Etienne de la Boétie (1530-1563) that government rule is untenable when it loses the consent of the governed. “Resolve to serve no more,” wrote Boetie, “and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall off his own weight and break into pieces.”
That’s inspiring but what does it mean in practice? What precisely is the mechanism by which the overlords in our time are effectively overthrown? We’ve seen this in totalitarian states, in states with one-man rule, in states with unelected monarchies. But unless I’m missing something, we’ve not seen this in a developed democracy with an administrative state that holds the real power. We have scheduled elections but those are unhelpful when 1) elected leaders are not the real source of power, and 2) when the elections are too far in the distant future to deal with a present emergency.
One very easy and obvious path away from the current crisis is for the ruling class to admit error, repeal the mandates, and simply allow for common freedoms and rights for everyone. As easy as that sounds, this solution hits a hard wall when faced with ruling-class arrogance, trepidation, and the unwillingness to admit past errors for fear of what that will mean for their political legacies. For this reason, absolutely no one expects the likes of Trudeau, Ardern, or Biden to humbly apologize, admit that they were wrong, and beg the people’s forgiveness. On the contrary, everyone expects them to continue the game of pretend so long as they can get away with it.
The people on the streets today, and those willing to tell pollsters that they are fed up, are saying: no more. What does it mean for the ruling class not to get away with this nonsense anymore? Presuming that they do not resign, they do not call off the dogs of mandates and lockdowns, what is the next step? My instincts tell me that we are about to discover the answer. Electoral realignment seems inevitable but what happens before then?
The obvious answer to the current instability is mass resignations within the administrative state, among the class of politicians that gives it cover, as well as heads of media organs that have propagandized for them. In the name of peace, human rights, and the renewal of prosperity and trust, this needs to happen today. Bury the pride and do what’s right. Do it now while there is still time for the revolution to be velvet.

Commentary from Nova Scotia
Politicians who claim their restrictions resulted in success in mitigating Covid-19 are not telling the truth. For example, Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston said the province is now “able to ease restrictions thanks to the province’s high vaccine rates and the fact that Nova Scotia is leading the country in booster doses.
It’s the Omicron variant that’s the real reason Covid-19 is killing so few people right now, not the vaccine, which accomplish nothing (except to weaken the immune system after the mRNA spiked proteins are flushed from the system). There’s also the problem of the adverse events.
For instance, in Nova Scotia, which has about one million people there were numerous adverse events. A famous one is the 13 year old girl whose heart stopped after taking the mRNA shot. Her father, Mark Mallett, posted a video on Facebook; it was taken down and the health commissioner Robert Strang issued a public statement that claiming there’s no proof that the jab caused the heart condition. The link now says “this content isn’t available right now.”
“A thirteen-year-old girl in Halifax, Nova Scotia is in the hospital right now because her heart stopped after the vaccine.”
Nova Scotia will begin easing COVID-19 restrictions on Monday. Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston said the province will begin easing some COVID-19 restrictions effective Monday and will continue to do so in phases moving forward.
[Of course this has _nothing_ to do with the truckers’ protest. Sure]
Nova Scotia reports 22 cases of heart inflammation. The Province of Nova Scotia is reporting 22 cases of heart inflammation, mostly in males between 20 and 30 years of age, following mRNA vaccine doses.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski was just denied bail and will remain in pretrial custody indefinitely.
The pastor was in a Calgary court today over a sermon he gave to truckers at the Coutts border blockade in southern Alberta, telling them to hold the line.
His presence at the demonstration led to a dramatic arrest at his home on February 8, where he was charged under Alberta’s Critical Infrastructure Defence Act for allegedly abetting the Coutts trucker blockade.
He has been at the Calgary Remand Centre in solitary confinement under terrible conditions ever since.
Today, the court deemed that Pastor Artur poses an ongoing risk to society and must remain caged up like a wild animal with no set date for his release.
Click here for my video about what happened.
This is an outrageous decision.
It combines the relentless persecution of Pastor Artur and the criminalization of peacefully supporting the truckers.
There’s no timetable for when we expect Pastor Artur to be let out, but that will hopefully change in his upcoming court appearance on March 11.
Pastor Artur has some of the best lawyers in the country currently working on his behalf — Sarah Miller of JSS Barristers is his lead legal counsel and has done an incredible job advocating for him in the face of insurmountable odds.
We’re helping crowdfund Pastor Artur’s legal fees, so if you want to pitch in, please click here or go to SaveArtur.com. We’ll have more to report soon, including an exclusive interview with Pastor Artur’s family about this decision.
Pastor Artur has been the tip of the spear in the fight for religious freedom in Canada and one of the strongest voices challenging the ongoing COVID restrictions in this country. And Rebel News has been reporting on Pastor Artur’s crusade every step of the way and helping him crowdfund his legal fees. If you want to support Pastor Artur’s legal fight, please click here to donate.

CBC lied by calling one of Pastor Artur’s speeches an “overt call to violence.” Here is the text from the deceptive CBC article: “A video of the speech posted online shows Pawlowski telling the crowd that “for freedom to be preserved, people must be willing to sacrifice their lives. This is our time. If this is our Alamo, then so be it,” he said. Johnston [a crown prosecutor] called Pawlowski’s words an “overt threat to violence.”
But where exactly is the “overt call to violence” in his words? The crown prosecutor, Steven Johnston, is looking for violent intent where none exists. Johnston appears to be fulfilling Trudeau’s political agenda to punish Pastor Artur. They’re punishing him for having dared speak out against the lockdown that violated freedom of religion.
Here is a letter I am sending to his office:
I read the CBC article in which you referred to one of Artur Pawlowski’s speeches as “overt call to violence.” As someone familiar with the history of religious martyrdom and violence, I’m skeptical of the claim that this was in fact a call to violence.
His statements sound more like a call for self-sacrificial action. They could just as well refer to the conduct of the early Christians who were nonviolent and became religious martyrs in the first centuries after Christ.
While his speech is directed at a largely secular audience, I believe it stems from Pawlowski’s religious belief, which includes a history of religious martyrdom.
Recall that he was initially arrested for keeping his church open at Easter, the holiest time of the Christian calendar. So from his perspective, this is about freedom of religion from persecution by a secular authoritarian state.
It if is a call for violence, it’s certainly not “overt.” One would have to infer it from some other context, such as Trudeau’s widely disputed claim that the convoy is violent. There is no evidence to support his claim.
A reference to the Alamo might be construed as a call to violence insofar as it was a military engagement, but it could also just as easily be a reference to self-sacrifice for a noble cause since it’s well known that the defenders of the Alamo knew they could not win against the Mexican Army but understood the importance of self-sacrifice for their cause (Texas sovereignty).
I thus believe Pawlowski was using the Alamo as a figurative statement, to mean “never give up” or “hold the line” or “go down with the ship.” In none of the statements quoted in the article did he call on the convoy at Coutts Alberta to defend their position with the use of arms or explicitly call for violence.
I have a hard time seeing his statements as an “overt” call to violence. And is his speech not protected under the Charter? Canada is now losing its prized status as a Western liberal democracy.
Having him arrested five times gives the appearance of a political witch hunt. You’re turning him into a martyr in the public eye by doing that. Arresting pastors for keeping their churches open is the kind of thing that’s normally done in China, not Canada.
I recall a time, not too long ago, when activists were ignored by the government, knowing that eventually, having had their say, they’d disband of their own accord. This movement, like all political movements, is finite, but it’s being prolonged by Trudeau’s over-zealous response.
You must know that it’s an overwhelmingly peaceful movement. Using the force of the state to repress and silence its heroes creates the kinds of dangerous tensions in a society that we’d do well to avoid.
Your office is throwing gasoline on the fire by continuing to go after Pawlowski. Some people who listen to the CBC will believe what they read or hear, but millions do not.

Chrystia Freeland’s Side Gig With The WEF Is Endangering Canadian Democracy
by Rupa Subramanya, National Post, Feb 02, 2021
[This is an article from a year ago about Chrystia Freeland’s connection to the WEF, which Trudeau is also affiliated with. Freeland is the Minister who just pushed for and got the implementation of the authoritarian Emergency Act to make a hit-list of all donors to the GiveSendGo fund, a sort of political enemies list — which is the kind of thing Communist China would do. They intend to go after bank accounts and jobs and driver licences of key people in the freedom movement. Will they do this to everyone who donated? How far will the new fascist Canadian state take this?]
There’s no need to invent conspiracy theories. The attempt by global elites to subvert local democracy is fully on and in plain view.

The World Economic Forum (WEF), which has met at the Swiss ski resort of Davos every year since its creation in 1971 by German academic and entrepreneur Klaus Schwab, was forced to convert its annual schmoozefest into a virtual event this year due to COVID-19.
Of note on the main agenda was a “stakeholder capitalism” panel, which included Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland. The former-journalist-turned-politician has been a fixture at the WEF for years.
Rubbing shoulders at Davos with the world’s rich, famous and powerful was one of the inspirations for her 2012 book, Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else.
[My comment: It’s curious that she writes a book exposing her own ruling class and then proceeds to crush a populist movement against it, ten years later. She knows better and has soul her soul]
Indeed, in her book, Freeland notes that an invitation to Davos “marks an aspiring plutocrat’s arrival on the international scene.” The global elite don’t especially enjoy the glare of publicity on their privileged lifestyles, so much so that Freeland wrote in a 2015 opinion piece in The Guardian: “After my book, Plutocrats, was published in 2012, I was even — and I know this will shock you — disinvited to a Davos dinner party!”
If the doors of Davos were closing for Freeland, they swung wide open after her entry into politics in 2013. Indeed, the one-time critic has enjoyed an apotheosis of sorts and since 2019 has sat on the board of trustees of the WEF itself. Other members include Canada’s own Mark Carney, former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England; Al Gore, former U.S. vice-president; Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest individual; Larry Fink, head of BlackRock, the world’s largest investment fund; and a slew of other bankers, CEOs, tycoons and celebrities. Notably, Freeland is the only government minister presently on the board. Other members include Canada’s own Mark Carney.
[Carney is a “Canadian economist and banker who served as the governor of the Bank of Canada from 2008 to 2013 and the governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020.” He is author of the aggressive anti-trucker piece in the Globe & Mail: It’s time to end the sedition in Ottawa by enforcing the law and following the money. He appears to be one of the people pushing Trudeau to move towards authoritarianism. In other words, Carney is an enemy of a free Canada and Western ideals.]
While there does not appear to be anything explicitly proscribed about Freeland’s serving on the board of a private foundation, the optics are extremely problematic, as Schwab and the WEF take strong positions on matters of global public policy which, if implemented, will affect all Canadians. Even more strangely, Freeland also sits on the supervisory board of the Aspen Institute Kyiv, a chapter of another Davos-type exclusive club that holds forth on global issues. That’s quite a journey from her beginnings as a freelance journalist working out of Ukraine.
These board memberships are far from symbolic. According to the WEF, the board of trustees “act as guardians of its mission and values” and are its “highest-level governance body.” Similarly, board members of the Aspen Institute Kyiv are responsible for providing “counsel to the president, as well as governance over the business, affairs, and property” of the institute. What would happen if acting as a “guardian” for the WEF came into conflict with acting as a guardian for Canada’s public finances, which is Freeland’s day job? What would happen if providing “counsel” to the Aspen Institute president came into conflict with providing counsel to Canada’s governor general, which is part of Freeland’s day job as a member of the Privy Council?
Writing in the New York Times in 2011, Freeland described Schwab as a “rather traditional European social democrat who aims to encourage among … participants a kind of noblesse oblige, or its modern equivalent, stakeholder capitalism.”
The political tradition that Freeland is describing originated with the reaction of privileged liberal elites rebelling against Europe’s feudal past, a world away from contemporary Canada. Search the 2019 Liberal party’s campaign platform, and you won’t find a single reference to “stakeholder capitalism.”
Yet, as a member of the board of trustees of Schwab’s outfit, Freeland is implicitly or explicitly committed to importing this brand of European social democracy into a Canadian ethos originally founded on individual rights and free market capitalism, which in turn is premised on maximizing shareholder value.
While Canada has drifted considerably leftward since its founding, a wholesale adoption of a corporatist philosophy and governance ethos imported from an exclusive gathering of the self-loathing rich who espouse these ideas over cocktails in the Swiss Alps would be nothing less than a subversion of Canadian democracy.
Like its first cousin, “The Great Reset,” which bizarrely aims to bring in environmental considerations under the purview of central banks, the innocuous sounding stakeholder capitalism is committed to destroying the foundations of Anglo-American free market capitalism and replacing it with a system where governments and their cronies in Davos tell private businesses what they need to care about.
The irony here is that all of those at Davos, including Freeland, got there because of the free market system and shareholder-driven capitalism, which they’re now bent on overthrowing in an unholy alliance of true believers and opportunists.
There’s no need to invent conspiracy theories. The attempt by global elites to subvert local democracy is fully on and in plain view.

Below: this is a neutral report on the protests. At the end of it, it shows an American super bowl protest — not large in numbers like Canada, perhaps because the restrictions are less harsh in the U.S.?
Commentary on the video by Matt Taibbi (an American commentator)
As Ford Fischer demonstrates in his narration, the protesters are a mix of people who see themselves as politically liberal, and politically conservative. There are some whose objections seem to be purely about mandates. “I’m double-vaccinated,” says one speaker. “To think… I will show my papers to buy a sandwich? Hell, no!”
For others, the issue is the vaccine itself:
“They said, ‘Get your booster…’ If it doesn’t work once, it doesn’t work twice, maybe it’ll work the third time. You know who does that? Gamblers. People who play blackjack!”
The scenes outside the Super Bowl, meanwhile, look quite different. Although trucker protests have gathered steam in too many countries around the world to count by now, the U.S. version has so far failed to produce the large numbers Canadians have seen. The News2Share footage also shows a crowd that looks and sounds different from the ones in Ottawa.
Stories like the Freedom Convoy are exactly why we like the idea of having Ford and his shooters just let the cameras run for a while at heavily covered events. The idea is to let audiences watch longer pieces of footage with minimal contextualization, so they may draw their own conclusions. Hopefully, News2Share’s pictures from Ottawa and L.A. shed some light.
He goes on: “What we’re fighting against are the politicians and the media,” he says, adding, “What’s been done to them by the media is, they’ve twisted their fear, and made them think their fear is a virtue.”
Here are some interesting comments online:
It weirds me out to watch how easy it has been for the American Left to rationalize their hypocrisy. While protesting racism was a justified cause, how many autonomous zones, nightly riots in Portland and other fringe events that had nothing to do with the BLM protests ignored by the media and the government. Imagine if anyone had suggested freezing the millions they raised, or doxxing people who donated to the cause. That would be an unimaginable dystopia. All it took was a few images and a smear campaign to give people the justification they needed to be okay with an authoritarian crackdown on people they deem “white supremacists.” I think it makes the truckers more sympathetic and Trudeau look like a frightened member of the aristocracy, protecting the rich who seem to have little concern for those who bring them their stuff while they sit at home rage tweeting . . .
I think the US caravans or convoys are starting later.
Could we get a piece like this on the international ones? Not a peep about any of it on cable news here.
John Ralston Saul right in the middle of it all in the Ontario Capitol and the man who headed PEN International for two consecutive terms is invisible.
Legacy media’s slanted coverage of trucker protest is reprehensible
by Cory Morgan, Epoch Times, Jan. 30, 2022
[This is from 16 days ago but still relevant]
As far as large protests go, the Truckers for Freedom protest at Parliament Hill in Ottawa has gone remarkably well. Thousands of upset people have converged in one spot and demonstrated with no reports of violence or vandalism. No clashes with police, no windows smashed.
If you watched nothing but legacy media coverage of the event, however, you would think that the demonstration was dominated by neo-Nazis and other assorted hate groups. The coverage has been nothing less than appalling.
Let’s review what has been making headlines since day one of the protest was held on Jan. 29.
A photograph of a person carrying a Nazi flag has been circulating. It was never actually seen among the protesters but it has been used to try to claim the protest has been dominated by Nazis.
A single Confederate flag was seen among the crowd. That picture has also been widely spread. But a video of demonstrators chasing that lone flag-holder from their ranks appears to have been overlooked by the media.
Some fools had parked on the steps of the National War Memorial and an idiot danced on the top of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This video is being constantly replayed by mainstream outlets, but they neglect to mention that this took part well outside of where the demonstration was held and it was only a handful of people. Those people were draped with Quebec flags by the way. Why isn’t the media trying to claim it was part of a Quebec nationalist movement?
A few twits draped a flag and put a mask on the Terry Fox memorial statue. The items were removed within minutes and the statue is unharmed (unlike many statues destroyed in past protests). It was disrespectful but hardly a capital offence. Still, we are barraged with images of the “desecration” continually on mainstream channels.
A Member of Parliament was photobombed by a jerk who had drawn a swastika on a Canadian flag with a felt pen. Ridiculous demands have been made that the MP apologize, though he clearly didn’t even know the flag was being waved behind him. Media is eagerly working to keep this story alive.
That’s about it. That’s all. That is the worst that the mainstream media could find after thousands of demonstrators spent an entire day in Ottawa.
Why couldn’t the media report on the thousands of Canadian flags being waved proudly through the demonstration? Why couldn’t they at least note that despite a week of predictions from “experts” that this demonstration would turn into another “January 6” event, not a single violent incident happened?
If we are going to pick winners and losers from the demonstration in Ottawa, the clear losers are the members of the mainstream media.
Trust in legacy media outlets has been in decline for years along with their viewership. The slanted coverage of news coupled with government bailouts has driven people to seek news from alternative news providers. The reprehensible behaviour from the mainstream media this week truly exposed to Canadians just how rotten that institution has become.
Nobody expects the media to support the trucker’s protest, but people expect coverage to be fair at least.
The media first ignored the convoy, then it tried to sow rumours about the legitimacy of the fundraising for the convoy, then it moved on to trying to paint the convoy as being extreme. The CBC even tried to link backing for the convoy to Russian interests.
Yet, we are witnessing an incredible event unfolding before us.
Despite the most vociferous efforts of Canada’s political and media establishment, an unprecedented nationwide movement and protest has emerged. The organizers didn’t need mainstream media coverage in order to bring together tens of thousands of people. They didn’t even need establishment banks in order to raise over $8 million from over 100,000 people.
This is what is at the root of the desperate and almost hysteric opposition to the Truckers for Freedom protest from the Canadian establishment. Canada’s political and media elites have lost control, and it scares the tar out of them. They don’t know what to do and are responding by hysterically lashing out.
Time will tell whether the protest will have the effect of actually pressuring authorities to drop pandemic restrictions. Even if it doesn’t, the convoy has already been a grand success. The convoy has shown that citizens can and will stand up for themselves when pushed too far, and that the establishment isn’t invulnerable.
Canada’s political and media elites needed a good dose of personal insecurity, and they just got it. They now can choose either to change their tune or get left behind. I suspect that they will choose the latter—and we will all be better for it.

BLM protests brought riots and violence to American cities, yet Trudeau gave the group’s Canadian arm over $8,000.
The Anti-Hate Network already received well over $200,000 to be hunter-killers of the enemies of Trudeau, and the Race Relations Foundation gave them another $6,000.
The BC Civil Liberties Association — noticeably silent during the last two years of civil rights violations — was the recipient of $10,000 from the same foundation.
This new information about the race relations grants was revealed in an order paper response to a question posed by Quebec Conservative MP Pierre Paul-Hus.
This week, Justin Trudeau used a never-before-used tool to turn peaceful critics of his government into terrorists or terror financiers under the law.

Virtue Hoarders by Tara Henley. A conversation about the professional managerial class with professor and author Catherine Liu.
[To access the half hour audio discussion, which is quite good, hit the link above It’s about the class of people who support the ruling elite and despite the working class]
As we all think through the class tensions that have surfaced in Canada, it’s a good time to take a closer look at an ethos held by many of those shaping the dialogue.
This group of decision-makers and opinion shapers, which includes the media, is often referred to in leftist circles as the professional managerial class. Catherine Liu, professor of film and media studies at the University of California, Irvine, has recently published a book on the PMC, titled Virtue Hoarders: The Case against the Professional Managerial Class. It is a fierce and funny polemic, and one so sharp and insightful that I’ve gone back to read it several times now.
In our conversation today on the podcast, Liu touches on everything from mommy bloggers to land acknowledgements — and argues that we must insist on viewing society’s current struggles through an economic lens.
Report by Rebel News: The Emergencies Act (a replacement for the War Measures Act) was invoked by the Liberals on Monday in an admission that not only had they lost control of the country, but their emotions as well, and were intent on taking out their frustrations on law-abiding citizens.
The Act is meant to be used for things like population-wide cholera outbreaks or literal acts of war — foreign attacks against the country on Canadian soil, not when moms and dads, small business owners and farmers take to the nation’s capital when they feel like no one is listening to them.
The truckers and their friends in Ottawa right now have not been violent. They have hot tubs, soup kitchens, bouncy castles, saunas and live concerts. That has not stopped the government from using tools meant to deal with Al-Qaeda and ISIS brides on them.
Their property and bank accounts are going to be seized for the crime of driving a truck into Trudeau’s territory. Just don’t expect the BC Civil Liberties Association to care. Their silence was purchased in advance.
_______
Below: a trucker driver explains why the use of the Emergency Act by Trudeau is wrong. Many people — this gentleman included — conclude that Trudeau is doing this to save his political career. I’m not sure about that actually. It dovetails with the WEF agenda and I believe it represents a new phase in their plan: attack the freedom movement as “terrorists” by using agent provocateurs. We already saw that happen with J6 and now it’s happened (I believe) in Coutts, Alberta (i.e., the highly suspicious find of weapons and charge of 3 Calgary men).

CBC uses stolen Freedom Convoy donor list to contact donors, asking why they donated
from Reclaim the Net
On February 13, crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo, which was being used to fundraise for the Freedom Convoy protests, was hacked. The personal information of more than 90,000 people who donated to the Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign was stolen.
Now, the Canadian government-funded media company CBC is using the stolen data, contacting those whose data was exposed, for a story.
CBC likely got a copy of the data from the leaked files hosting service Distributed Denial of Secrets or downloaded it at the time of the attack. The original link to the hacked data, posted on GiveSendGo.wtf, is no longer available.
A message from No More Lockowns
[This is a serious advocacy group, part of the Canadian freedom movement. They urge us to contact our political representatives]
Justin Trudeau is fully unhinged, desperately trying to cling to power and complete his totalitarian agenda. By invoking unprecedented emergency measures, he is completely subverting the rule of law in Canada, suspending our civil liberties, and using his newfound powers to completely destroy the lives of political dissidents. These reckless actions are precedent setting, and will enable future governments to invoke these powers with ease. While you might not be directly affected right now, it’s our obligation as citizens to do everything in our power to secure freedom for future generations and stop this tyranny from becoming permanent.
In the 2nd day of Trudeau’s state of emergency, we are observing the tyrants making threats to freeze bank accounts and seize the assets of ordinary Canadians. We must remain calm, but be aware of current events and consider ways to protect your assets, private property and resources. Under the emergencies act, Justin Trudeau must present his declaration of emergency to both the House of Commons, and the Senate of Canada within 7 days. Upon introducing the declaration to these legislative chambers, parliamentarians will debate the issue for no more than 10 hours, followed by a vote. Justin Trudeau is required to have majority approval in BOTH chambers in order for the state of emergency to continue.
Simply put, we as citizens have one final opportunity to defeat Justin Trudeau and his descent into authoritarian tyranny. If we fail in this task, it is highly likely that our freedoms will be gone forever.
We need every citizen to immediately begin contacting Federal MPs and Senators, urging them to publicly oppose these emergency measures and vote against them. You should also contact Provincial MPPs in Ontario, including Premier Doug Ford, to publicly reject these measures from being applied in Ontario, as multiple provinces such as Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have already done.
Contact Members of Parliament by clicking here.
Contact Canadian Senators by clicking here.
Contact Ontario MPPs by clicking here.
The past three weeks of peaceful demonstrations have influenced meaningful change, with many provinces accelerating the removal of public health restrictions. We have also seen 4 Liberal MPs publicly break ranks with Justin Trudeau, suggesting there are many others in the Liberal Caucus sharing their views. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, who has propped up Trudeau’s Minority government since 2019, has signalled he may withdraw NDP support for these emergency measures if it appears the government is overreaching.
Astute observers know we are far beyond the point of severe government overreach. This is our final opportunity as free citizens to secure the future of liberty for ourselves and for future generations.
We are urging all of you to repeatedly contact Liberal MPs urging them to break ranks with Justin Trudeau; to contact Jagmeet Singh and other NDP MPs urging them to withdraw support from the Liberal government; to contact Canadian Senators and urge them to vote against these authoritarian measures in the Senate; and to contact Premier Doug Ford and Ontario MPPs urging them to publicly oppose these emergency measures, and express disapproval of their use in Ontario.
Call these people non-stop. Speak with them and their teams. Leave them repeated voicemails, and flood their inboxes with emails. Encourage your family and friends to join with you in these efforts. We must make it abundantly clear to our political class they have one final opportunity to do the right thing, or be remembered as traitors and tyrants for the rest of time.
MPP Randy Hillier continues to support the truckers in their highly successful peaceful protests. He has been in Ottawa since the beginning, and will remain active there until this situation is resolved. This is the defining moment of our time, and Randy Hillier urges all of you to stand with him in Ottawa during the days ahead. We must win this, no matter the cost.

Below: Trudeau says he is going ahead with violating the fundamental rights of citizens and justifies it by saying it’s in the interests of “the majority.” No, it’s in the interests of the ruling class.

8 Tips For Keeping Money Safe If Your Fascist Prime Minister Tries To Freeze Your Bank Account
[Satire from Babylon Bee]
The emergence of a Canadian dictatorship is no laughing matter, even if it is Trudeau. The trauma in Canada serves as a stark reminder that even the politest nation can suddenly be turned on its head by a tyrant wearing blackface.
If Trudeau is coming for your bank account, consider these tips for keeping your money safe.
1) Convert all your money to Tim Horton’s gift cards: This is now the most stable form of currency in Canada.
2) Hide it under something Trudeau can’t move, like a 10-pound dumbbell: His max is only 7 pounds.
3) Write quotes from Thomas Sowell on all your cash so that when government agents take it, they’ll read how detrimental wealth confiscation is to political and economic stability and give it right back: Can confirm that this works.
4) Put your money in a basket and send it down the Nile: The drawback here is your funds may be repossessed by Pharaoh’s daughter. Or eaten by a crocodile.
5) Invest in a Hunter Biden Painting: Their value goes up every time President Biden tries to start a war! Neat!
6) Buy an NFT or something, maybe? Not sure what this is: NFTs are really cool, we are told. Can someone please explain?
7) Acquire more money by robbing a store in California: If Trudeau takes all your money, you can always loot a Walgreens in San Francisco and get more money. Crime is legal there for some reason.
8) Shut up and comply with all unlawful government mandates for the rest of your miserable life: The easiest path, buddy.
If you live in America, never fear! None of that will ever, EVER happen here. Not for a few weeks, at least.

An Open Letter to Justin Trudeau and the Federal Government [from some Christian pastors]
TO: the Prime Minister and Federal Government,
We are writing to you as representative pastors of Christian congregations from across the nation and as law-abiding citizens who respect the God-defined role of civil government and uphold the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the highest law of our land, which recognizes the supremacy of God over all human legislation.
Jesus Christ is Lord and King and the ruler of the kings of the earth. He sets up kings and pulls down the mighty from their thrones and none can stay his hand.
Mr. Trudeau, with great respect, you are neither the king nor the ruler of Canada.
You do not grant people rights and responsibilities that are theirs as God’s image-bearers and a free people. Since you do not grant them, you have no authority to remove them.
We as Christian pastors condemn in the strongest possible terms your unprecedented invoking of the Emergency Powers Act (1988) with the intent of bringing unaccountable state power to bear on peaceful citizens – men women and children – who have been stripped of their fundamental freedoms for two years and who have in many cases lost everything as a result of your governments mandates.
These tyrannical actions are exposing this government and people to the judgment of God, and we are deeply concerned that you do not appreciate the significance of God’s wrath upon a rebellious and lawless nation.
Our hope and prayer for you and your government is that you will lift the emergency measures, end these lawless mandates, and enact justice for a people who elected you to that purpose.

Conrad Black: Trudeau’s wretched smear-job of truckers highlights sorry state of Canadian leadership
[Black, while attacking Trudeau, also cautions truckers to proceed cautiously; he is a sympathetic member of the ruling class, but a conservative who is not too enamoured of the Liberal/Leftist hegemony or spineless CPC (though they’ve improved recently, finally); it’s a well-written article]
The official response to the truckers protesting COVID restrictions is one of the most disgraceful political episodes in the history of Canada as an autonomous country. The prime minister’s statement that the truckers were probably homophobic, trans-phobic, misogynists and racists was an outrage that was unsupported by evidence. Instead of dealing with these truckers and the issues that propelled them across the country in a serious way, the prime minister attacked them en route as a “small fringe minority” who hold “unacceptable views.” There is no justification for any of this and polls show the truckers represent approximately as many Canadians as the number who voted for this government in September. The government propaganda machine followed with a smear job highlighting Nazi and racist imagery, though there is very little of that, and a Confederate flag-waver was led away by the truckers.
Former governor of the banks of Canada and England and apparent Liberal office-seeker Mark Carney denounced the protesters in the Globe and Mail, accusing them of “sedition” and “insurrection,” and announced that their goal is “undermining our democracy and the rule of law.” In fact, they are just trying to avoid two weeks of quarantine when crossing the border, not overthrow the government. Taking on the august airs of a central banker, he wrote: “I know from experience that crises don’t end by themselves. You can’t spin your way out of failure.” That is particularly apposite coming from someone who was a total failure as the governor of the Bank of England when he became a mindless parrot of the Cameron government in claiming that Britain would be devastated if it approved Brexit, and when he tried to turn the bank into an authoritarian enforcer of a green ecological despotism, a public policy area that is no business of a central bank and where his views are moonshine.
There are some problems with the truckers’ stance. Their initial grievance was that the approximately 10 per cent of them who are not vaccinated would be quarantined for 14 days when they re-entered Canada from the United States. This is a legitimate complaint and the government could easily have substituted a strict testing system for a two-week layoff. The policy could be a serious threat to the supply chain of this country. These are highly skilled men with lonely and challenging jobs performing a vital national function. The truckers’ procession across the country was good-natured and contained no hints of violence or sociopathic or bigoted motives.
. . . The length and extent of lockdowns was misconceived from the outset . . . Instead of making the federal government’s management of the issue a primary factor in the autumn election, the opposition parties cowered in fear of seeming to criticize the ruling party during a national crisis. Docile and invertebrate opposition generally assures complacent, incompetent and abusive government. That has been Canada’s fate.
The appropriate official response, apart from immediately removing the most objectionable anti-COVID policies, would have been to invite a delegation of the truckers to meet with the prime minister and appropriate members of his government to discuss their grievances. The defamation and the attempt to incite public hostility against them was contemptible demagogy. The most egregious actors in this saga are Ottawa’s police chief, Peter Sloly, and its mayor, Jim Watson, who have been terminally self-pleased by having intervened with the corrupt American left-wing fund-receptacle GoFundMe, to seize the truckers’ money. This was simply theft. The truckers quickly attracted heavy support from other quarters and their original supporters received refunds, though the Ontario government managed to persuade a court to block the US$8.4 million ($10.6 million) that was raised through another site.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has needlessly escalated the state of anger and division in the country and has disserved everyone. But the truckers now have to act carefully. It is not acceptable for anyone to obstruct normal business in the centre of the country’s capital, or in any other city, for more than a brief period, to call attention to their grievances. The public are the victims of all the disruption the truckers are causing, and the public is not their enemy: it is precisely the gallery the truckers need to impress. If Trudeau or other senior members of the government won’t meet with a delegation of the protesters, the truckers should make that point loudly and disperse. Public opinion would rightly support them, especially if Trudeau continues with his smear job and his unctuous pieties about national unity, which his own intransigence is fragmenting.
No closing of the U.S. border, as truckers are now doing at three crossings, for more than 30 minutes is tolerable, and neither is impassable congestion on the Trans-Canada or other major highways. The truckers can win this confrontation by exposing Trudeau’s pompous posturing and his slander of the truckers as a fraud. But they can’t win by trying to intimidate the government and by so inconveniencing the public that they demand the government make concessions to end the truckers’ protests. In that scenario, the public will demand that the truckers go home; not that the government cave to all their demands. The government, incompetent and largely contemptible though it is, is the elected and legitimate government. The truckers are right to rail against authoritarian mandates, but they should remember that they have no mandate from anyone to do anything, and their hold on public support is tenuous. What is much more worrisome than the conduct of the truckers or even the asinine and now thoroughly discredited official response to the coronavirus is that the federal government’s reflexive response is not to recruit public opinion by making a goodwill effort to listen to the truckers’ complaints and respond to them reasonably, but to defame this approaching host of aroused citizens supported by millions of their countrymen as a wretched mob of thugs, bigots and perverts.
It is all depressingly illustrative of the great national malaise: the government isn’t governing and the Opposition isn’t opposing. Our political leaders are incompetent. They are a nuisance as well as a disappointment, and in a democracy we get the government (and Opposition) we deserve. It is this vacuum that provides much of the receptivity for the protests of the truckers — they’re the only player in this drama that is showing any leadership.

Corporate Vaccine Mandates and Vaccine Passports – Brought to You by BlackRock and Vanguard | 16 Feb 2022 | After the U.S. Supreme Court last month froze the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for large private employers, some companies…dropped plans to implement the mandate. Others, based on guidance issued in 2020 by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, left the mandates in place. Most of the large employers that opted to mandate COVID vaccines for their employees, even though the Supreme Court ruled they didn’t have to, have something in common: BlackRock and The Vanguard Group have ownership stakes in them. BlackRock and Vanguard, two of the world’s “Big Three” asset managers, also are among the top three shareholders of COVID vaccine makers Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — which means the two investment giants stand to benefit from these companies’ soaring profits and the resulting rise in those companies’ stock prices. BlackRock and Vanguard don’t just benefit from sales of COVID vaccines. As it turns out, they also have ownership stakes in technology companies developing vaccine passports and digital wallets.
Israel Starts Canadian-Inspired ‘Freedom Convoy’ Against COVID-19 Mandates | 14 Feb 2022 | The convoy of Canadian truckers protesting COVID-19 mandates and restrictions has inspired people in other countries to follow suit with protests of their own, including Israel. Thousands of Israeli protesters have joined a Canadian-inspired “Freedom Convoy” on Monday, with vehicles flying Israeli and Canadian flags while driving along the main highway linking Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In footage posted to social media, vehicles are heard blaring horns on Israeli roads as protesters are seen banging drums and blocking roads–mirroring a similar method Canadians have used to voice their grievances over the government’s COVID-19 mandates and restrictions. “Over 30,000 vehicles in 40 convoys from 40 Israel cities united in Jerusalem earlier today to demand the removal of all COVID-19 restrictions and a return to normality,” said Oshy Ellman, a senior Israeli communications adviser.
Canada’s House of Commons erupts after Trudeau accuses Jewish MP of supporting swastikas –The speaker of the House of Commons admonished Trudeau and others to avoid ‘inflammatory’ language| 16 Feb 2022 | The Canadian House of Commons erupted in shouts of condemnation Wednesday after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied to a Jewish member of Parliament by accusing members of the opposing Conservative Party of “standing with people who wave swastikas.” Trudeau, a member of the Liberal Party, made his comment in response to being grilled by Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman during a tense, emotional Question Period, which occurs every sitting day in the Canadian House of Commons when members of Parliament ask questions of government ministers, including the prime minister. Lantsman, who became the first Jewish woman to be elected as a Conservative MP last October, read a 2015 quote from Trudeau when he said, “If Canadians are going to trust their government, their government needs to trust Canadians.” [This is all based on one Nazi flag in Ottawa, which was probably the work of an agent provocateur. No one can identify who this person was]
Canadian truckers react to Trudeau invoking Emergencies Act: ‘He just gained more freedom fighters’–One trucker quit his job and stayed with the Freedom Convoy | 15 Feb 2022 | Truckers who remained in Ottawa on Monday evening were largely undeterred by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s use of the Emergencies Act, felt it was another “power grab” and said they would continue their protest. One trucker committed to staying opted to resign from his company after he was suspended Monday. “The more they are trying to put us to the corner, the more we are willing to stand our ground,” another trucker, Edward Martyrosya, told Fox News. “I think it’s wonderful,” trucker Csaba Vizi said of Emergencies Act. “I’ll tell you why: because even more Canadians who have been looking at the whole thing passively from their home, their couch…they might want to wake up and stand up with us.” Trudeau “just gained more freedom fighters,” Vizi continued.
‘We Will Hold the Line’: Freedom Convoy Organizers Say They’re Not Deterred by Emergencies Act | 14 Feb 2022 | Freedom Convoy organizers say they will continue to protest on Parliament Hill despite the federal government’s declaration of a state of emergency. “We are not afraid. In fact, every time the government decides to further suspend our civil liberties, our resolve strengthens and the importance of our mission becomes clearer,” organizer Tamara Lich said on Feb. 14 in anticipation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoking the Emergencies Act over the protests demanding an end to COVID-19 mandates. “We will remain peaceful, but planted on Parliament Hill until the mandates are decisively ended. We recognize that there is a democratic process within which change occurs. We have never stepped outside of that process, nor do we intend to.” Trudeau is the first prime minister to use the Emergencies Act.
